Today

Today was an interesting day. And not interesting is in 'oh that is weird and I have nothing better to say that wouldn't be considered offensive interersting' but it was sincerely well, interesting. Today I went to a conference called Love Won Out. It was amazing, I learned so much about our God, and glimpses of what it is like for those that struggle with same sex attraction, and even more about myself. If anyone would like to hear more about this conference I would love to speak to you in person to explain more. Anyways, there were protesters that held many signs saying "God loves me" and many people had flags and were waving them around. They were peacefully protesting (minus the fact that when it was time for me they were blocking my view of oncoming traffic, but whatev) which they obviously have every right to do that. As a member of the body of Christ, it broke my heart to see that those protesters were outside for hours trying to make a point that they were loved by our Father. When did it be okay as "Christians" to deny that love of God? When did we get authority to say who exactly God loves. The answer is, it isn't, and we don't. Those protesters are right, God does love people that are struggling, we are ALL sinners and we need Jesus. My heart breaks for the broken and like I said, we are all broken. We need to show the world that God has no restraints on who he loves, we are all his children. Jesus has made a way to deliver us from sin, we need to die to our self and leave everything, and I mean everything at the cross and cling onto Jesus, and learn everything over again with Gods original intent, only then will we be born again.

"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord, looks at the heart."     1 Samuel 16:7
